06 Aug 21. The body of Harry Nettlefold, a 22 year old from Rye, East Sussex, was found at Beachy Head on August 28th 2011. Harry was on the East Sussex ‘At Risk Register,’ after years of abuse and violence from his mother. A month before his death he walked into Conquest Hospital in Hastings with rope marks round his neck and gave his father’s address in London as next-of-kin. The hospital did nothing, never called his father Julian Nettlefold. Harry was admitted and drugged to the eyeballs with Diazepam to shut him up about the abuse he had received from men in the area and elsewhere.
Harry Nettlefold’s father, Julian, a journalist, has been researching the case since his son’s death and has uncovered a myriad of problems and the possible involvement of a local Rye paedophile gang in organising these ‘disposals.’ He gave Sussex Police the names of nine suspects, one of whom had his son’s wallet in his car when he put it up for sale. That man was never questioned by Sussex Police about why Harry’s wallet was in his car which he had put up for sale at BCA Kent.
“I was called by Stephen Lloyd MP’s office at the time of Harry’s death to be informed that I was the only person they knew who had contested a death at Beachy Head. They had wider concerns as the actual number of deaths is believed to be near 100 not the 15 advertised at that time. Stephen Lloyd’s office compiled a report to the Constituency Office in Westminster, but it became ‘lost’ in the system, and the promised Inquiry into Beachy Head never occurred in spite of a number of PQs on my behalf. It took me five years to work out how Harry was murdered, it certainly wasn’t an amateur job and required local involvement and knowledge of the Coroner’s Inquest system. The Coroner tried to hold the Inquest without me. My son’s body was then cremated without my permission and against my clear instructions. I know who raped Harry, where it happened and when.” Julian Nettlefold said.
What was uncovered was:
- An FoI Request to Eastbourne Council regarding number of deaths, sex and age, was returned with ‘numbers unknown.’
- No names of the dead are advertised in the local paper by government advice as it encourages others.
- The dead bodies are kept for 3 months in the Eastbourne Mortuary and then cremated if not claimed.
- If both parents agree suicide as cause of death then there is no Inquest.
“So, if a parent like me, loses a child and their body is found at Beachy Head, how is the family going to know if the body is in the mortuary. If the body is naked, as my son’s was, there is no ID and thus no possibility of DNA or dental records being located. Clearly organised crime has exploited a loophole for getting rid of paedophile victims who then are just added to the Missing Persons Register.”
